  • Portraits are hand painted from customer photographs. By supplying a photograph to Harelooms, the customer confirms that they have right or permission to provide that photograph for the purpose of creating the commissioned artwork. Photographs supplied by customers will be used only for creating and fulfilling the Hareloom order unless the customer separately gives permission for them, or images of the finished artwork , to be used for marketing or promotional purposes. Customers should not send photographs that they do not have permission to use.

  • Each Hareloom is an original hand-painted artwork created from the photographs and information provided by the customer. The finished painting is an artistic interpretation rather than an exact photographic reproduction and variations in colour, expression, brushwork and composition are part of the individual character of the artwork. We will use reasonable care to reflect the people, relationships and details provided by the customer. Because each artwork is created by hand, no two Harelooms will be identical. Minor artistic variations are not considered fault. This does not affect your statutory rights where an artwork is faulty or materially different from the description or agreed specification.

  • Full payment required before artwork begins

  • Each Hareloom is individually hand-painted and made to order. Any completion or delivery times are estimates. We will provide an estimated timescale when your order is accepted and will contact if you if there is any significant delay.

  • Because each Hareloom is made to the customer’s individual specifications and is clearly personalised, orders cannot normally be cancelled or refunded once work has begun. This does not affect your statutory rights if the artwork is faulty, damaged or not as described.

  • Once your order and payment have been received, we will contact you to obtain the photographs and information required to create your Hareloom. Artwork will not begin until these have been received. If you need to make a change to your order before painting has commenced, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@harelooms.co.uk. Once painting has commenced, changes may not be possible and may incur an additional charge where significant alterations are requested.
