About Harelooms

Harelooms began with a simple belief - the most treasured possessions in a home are rarely the most expensive. They are the pieces that tell a family’s story.

For eight wonderful years we owned and curated an independent art gallery, helping collectors discover artwork they would cherish for a lifetime. During that time, one artist’s paintings were consistently finding their way into homes across the world, becoming treasured gifts and lasting family memories.

That artist was Helen Gee. Again and again we watched families fall in love with her work. Her unique ability to capture warmth, personality and connection made her one of our most sought after artists.

When our gallery journey came to an end, our relationship with Helen did not. Instead, it became the beginning of Hareloom.

Together, we have created a collection of bespoke family portraits that celebrate the people, memories and relationships that matter the most. Each Hareloom is individually designed and hand painted using your treasured photographs as inspiration and thoughtfully finished to create a lasting piece of original art for future generations.

Whether commissioned to celebrate a wedding, anniversary, birthday, new arrival, family gathering or the memory of a loved one, every Hareloom is created with care sensitivity and pure craftsmanship.

Our hope is simple - that every Hareloom becomes more than a painting it a conversation piece, a memory keeper, a family treasure and a reason to smile as you walk past.

A Hareloom portrait of what matters most.

With love from our family to yours,

Paul and Helen Ridgwell
