Harelooms is a trading name of P & H Ridgwell, a partnership between Paul and Helen Ridgwell. P & H Ridgwell is responsible for the personal information collected through this website and in connection with Hareloom’s orders.

We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery address, order details. gift voucher information, photographs and other information you provide in connection with your Hareloom order or enquiry.

We may also collect information about how you found us, including where you have used a referral link or QR code supplied by one of our partners.

  • Process and manage orders

  • create your commissioned Hareloom from the photographs and information you provide

  • contact you about your order, artwork and delivery

  • process gift vouchers and payments

  • arrange delivery

  • respond to enquiries, complaints or requests

  • keep appropriate business, tax and accounting records; and

  • record referral information where an order had come through one of our partners

We process this information where it is necessary to fulfil your order or contract with us, or for our legitimate business interests where appropriate.

Who we share information with - we do not sell your personal information

We may share personal information with trusted service providers who help us operate Harelooms including,

  • Squarespace which hosts our website and online store

  • Squarespace payments and payment processing providers which process customer payments

  • Delivery and Courier companies were information is required to deliver your order

  • Professional advisors or authorities where required for accounting, legal or regulatory purposes.

These organisations only receive the information needed for the relevant service

How long we keep your information

We keep customer order and transaction records for as long as necessary for accounting, tac and legal purposes.

Photographs supplied for the creation of a Hareloom will normally be deleted once the order has been completed and any reasonable period for queries or problems has passed.

Other personal information will be kept only for as long as its reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have rights in relation to your personal information, including the right to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy

  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information

  • ask us to delete your personal information in certain circumstances

  • ask us to restrict how we use your information in certain circumstances

  • object to certain uses if your personal information

  • ask us to transfer information you have provided us where the right to data portability applies.

Where we rely on your consent, for example if you have agreed that we may use your photograph or finished Hareloom for promotional purposes, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
